In his role as Bidtellect’s Chief Technology Officer, Mike Conway is responsible for overseeing all product, engineering and technology teams at Bidtellect. Mike also supports the IAB Blockchain working group. He has spent his career at the forefront of various technology industries before experiencing tremendous growth.

Prior to joining Bidtellect, Mike was the Vice President of Engineering at Millennial Media for three years. During his tenure there he built an engineering staff with a primary focus on mMedia, the company’s self-service monetization advertising platform for the in-app economy. He was also responsible for building the company’s big data infrastructure and Data Management Platform.

Mike remained at Millennial Media through their acquisition by AOL in 2015 where he was Sr. Director of Data Services.  He managed the company’s entire big data infrastructure including ingestion, storage and management. During his time there, he built out the central logging system, which took the disparate log formats from all ad servers and consolidated them into a single format for central data management and reporting.

Prior to Millennial Media/AOL, Mike was the Director of Worldwide Integration, Electronic Tolling, Red Light and Speed Camera at Xerox from 2005-2011. Before Xerox Mike worked at Celera Genomics from 2000-2005, where he and his team managed and applied data to the creation of algorithms for human genome mapping.


Mike sits on the IAB open data workforce working to normalize data that has passed between entities within the ad industry. Mike received his BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and his MBA from the University of Maryland.
