Senior JavaScript Engineer, UI/UX

Delray Beach, FL

Bidtellect’s Technology team is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and technically proficient Senior JavaScript Engineer who cares deeply about clean, reusable, performant code–and of course, Bidtellect. Candidate should have a deep technical background in JavaScript and modern JavaScript libraries. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing performant, accessible, cross-browser compatible experiences for our clients.

Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative user experiences for visualization, support for our advertiser and publisher users, and all parts of our native Demand Side and exchange platforms. You will expand your current skill set through cross-disciplinary collaboration within a startup environment alongside some of the most innovative thinkers in the fast-paced digital advertising industry

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build and maintain the infrastructure/architecture aspects of our front end stack: build processes, unit/functional testing, monitoring and improving performance
  • Define proper code patterns and conventions and employ them
  • Collaborate with Product and Backend engineering teams on cross-team projects
  • Mentor junior front end engineer(s)
  • Make a lasting impact on the future of front end development at Bidtellect as you help to define it
  • Evangelize and implement architectural patterns and best practices
  • Work closely Backend Developers to coordinate improvements to our nDSP
  • Help monitor and troubleshoot system performance to improve system efficiency
  • Participate in pod based development lifecycle that works closely with our Product organization to help define and implement our product backlog

What you’ll need to get it done:

  • Extensive experience with JavaScript
  • Expertise in browser performance-you understand the critical rendering path and you always achieve optimal performance
  • The drive and ability to see a project through from concept to implementation
  • You have your finger on the pulse of the front end development community. You know about new technologies and you have good instincts for whether or not they are production-ready and will actually solve a problem that we have.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX and website design definitions is prefferable
  • An endless curiosity about how stuff works and the want to figure it out
  • Someone who plays well with others
  • An equal willingness to learn and teach
  • Experience with version control (preferably git) and continuous integration
  • Clear communicator, able to work with product and marketing teams effectively
