They were ready to explore running outside social channels. The client had strict CPA goals, and needed to quickly identify a digital solution that would drive new member acquisition.

SOLUTIONS & TACTICS

Bidtellect worked with the brand to understand their digital goals and challenges and recommended a Native strategy to extend their Facebook creative assets into high-performing, contextually-relevant, and brand-safe open-web environments. Bidtellect recommended a mix of contextual targeting, custom publisher lists, and retargeting strategies in order to achieve acquisitions. Bidtellect leveraged IAS’s semantic keyword brand safety solutions to ensure that all ads appeared in brand-safe environments. Bidtellect’s in house creative studio (b+studio) repurposed their existing social assets, as well as produced new creative for testing and performance.

RESULTS

After the 6 week test, Bidtellect exceeded the $110 social CPA goal by over 30%, achieving an $84.31 CPA. Bidtellect’s platform and performance team was able to hone in on the best-performing Native placements across various publishers, creatives, and contextual environments that were driving the most efficient performance, as well as provide in-depth reporting. The client saw immediate value in Bidtellect’s native activation solutions. They renewed the campaign and extended the partnership to new markets based on performance and service.

This Top 5 US State Lottery believed in the power of native display, but had only seen success in prospecting campaigns, with their current partner falling short when it came to re-engagement. Bidtellect was tasked with re-engaging existing players to drive incremental deposits and revenue while delivering a positive ROAS goal.

CHALLENGES

The client had several constraints Bidtellect had to operate under:

  • Leverage only a closed ecosystem of approved sites (2,000+ Blacklist and no crossover with direct network buys)
  • Multiple levels of age restriction targeting on approved sites
  • Geo-specific delivery
  • Simultaneous anti-targeting of animated video content, cartoons, and any content or products related to kids or children at the page level.

SOLUTIONS & TACTICS

Bidtellect’s Platform Operations team worked hand-in-hand with the compliance team in charge of the Lottery’s site to not only ensure Bidtellect’s pixels were approved, but implemented in such a way that new account creations and return players were captured and classified.  Bidtellect’s buying power across the mandatory closed ecosystem of sites proved invaluable, as it allowed for performance above goal after the first full week of going live. To further amplify buying power and maximize allotted budget, Bidtellect recommended shifting to dynamic pricing after providing several key analyses and bid compliance details.

The team sought to drive incremental foot traffic to Leslie’s Pool stores by both assessing seasonal market fluctuations and specificities and by leveraging and promoting content that aligns with each market’s annual pool maintenance needs.

  • To increase Foot Traffic Lift from Exposed Audience (measured by Placed)

  • To maximize reach, Bidtellect ran across all devices and products.
  • To encourage clicks, Bidtellect ran across display only.
  • We leveraged contextual targeting across all categories to further increase reach.
  • We leveraged behavioral targeting across our data partners to reach pool owners, and those who are in market, or have been in market, to purchase pool supplies.
  • We focused on pushing blog content out to encourage visitors to click to site, spend time, and ultimately find a store near them to drive in-store visits.

RESULTS

Bidtellect outperformed all partners in all media categories (including offline and online), achieving an impressive 41% behavioral lift. dCPM and dCPC came in below contracted rates. Contextual proved to be an effective and scalable strategy, achieving strong click through rates and high site engagement, averaging 56 seconds Time on Site. CTR surpassed every categorial benchmark. Following the campaign, Bidtellect earned an RFP for 5 additional markets with a 600% increase in budget.

The Belize Tourism Board chose Bidtellect for a Native partnership fueled by custom editorial content – a winning combination.

OBJECTIVES

The Belize Tourism Board needed a landing page and awareness plan for their upcoming Belize Guilt Trip contest. The unique contest offered contestants a chance to submit themselves to win a guilt-free trip to Belize by also nominating a deserving, hard-working co-worker to win a trip, too. The contest needed a custom landing page to accept submissions, and Bidtellect would drive traffic and spread awareness about Belize tourism through custom Native placements.

SOLUTIONS & TACTICS

Bidtellect created a custom landing page. It housed all details about the contest, allowed users to sign up directly for the contest, and managed all backend data collection. Bidtellect drove qualified users to the custom contest landing page via Native ad placements, which were supplemented by social and PR efforts.

RESULTS

As a result of working with Bidtellect, Belize Tourism Board received 15,000 contest entries, exceeded the Viewability Goal of 70%, and achieved a 30% conversion rate. The Belize Guilt Trip was a guilt-free success.
