SOLUTIONS & TACTICS

Grow Customer Base:

  • To drive purchases and loyalty program sign-ups, we ran on all products and all devices to maximize our reach.
  • We leveraged contextual targeting of both Style & Fashion and Fitness audiences as well as Whitelist targeting.
  • Our platform targeted users who were not part of their loyalty program with discount codes to encourage users to sign up.

Retain Existing Customers:

Bidtellect ran CRM targeting off of their 1st party data to advertise one of their annual sales. We showed each membership tier a different creative with discount codes, driving them back to the site to purchase again.

Creative Analysis and Optimization:

We adapted existing social media campaign assets to Native Ad units. Our creative services team, [b]+studio, made regular creative rotations to promote various product launches and seasonal products. Bidtellect leveraged trending creative formats such as video and gifs to catch the user’s attention and drive quality site traffic, and optimized towards metrics such as CTR and site engagement.

OBJECTIVE

In recent years, two major “Teen-Focused” retailers saw a decline in sales. They turned to Bidtellect to reclaim their global high school consumer brand status.

SOLUTIONS & TACTICS

Bidtellect initially launched all products (In-Feed, In-Ad and Recommendation Widgets) nationally across all devices (desktop, mobile, and tablet). Bidtellect also layered contextual targeting via shopping, fashion, arts and entertainment as well as news. Bidtellect leveraged the brands’ social media campaign assets and made weekly updates to creative assets for both male and female through the creative services team, [b]+studio. Bidtellect optimized the copy for In-Ad and Recommendation Widgets to enhance performance throughout the campaign.

RESULTS

Both campaigns averaged a 2:1 Return on Ad Spend. In fact, one brand saw In-Feed Placement drive the strongest Return on Ad Spend at nearly 4:1. Both brands averaged over a .8% CTR and achieved their CPA Goals handily.

A major clothing retailer sought to drive sales and expand the brand’s online presence with a positive return on ad spend and performance measurement through Omniture data.

  • We drove new users to the retailer’s site via Contextual Targeting and leveraged a Retargeting tactic to re-message consumers who had not made a purchase.
  • Our dynamic pricing solution offered a more effective and efficient way to reach the target audience in the digital landscape.
  • Additionally, Bidtellect placed our propriety Engagement Code on the retailer’s site, which allowed us to monitor, optimize and offer thorough post-click analytics to the client.
  • Bidtellect providing detailed weekly reports that included a detailed breakout of our Engagement data in addition to Omniture and DCM’s data. Ultimately, the client shifted away from Omniture data to user site engagement.

RESULTS

The use of Bidtellect’s native advertising enabled this retail advertiser to communicate its powerful messaging and content while leveraging our advanced targeting across thousands of publishers. This resulted in an overall Engagement Score of 9/10. Engagement metrics were fantastic across the board, driving an Average Time on Site of 189 seconds, 2.58 Page Views per Visit and a Bounce Rate of 30.7%.
